逼上梁山!

In English, pushing someone to the extreme and leave no option!

I am talking about the Bandar Mahkota Cheras incident where their access road was blocked by Toll Concessionaire Grand Sagas Sdn Bhd, forcing residents in the area to travel extra 7 Km each journey, and forcing them to pay 2 X toll instead of one if the acess road is clear.

I do not know the complication, the law, or politicians whom I see leveraging on this to gain mileage, particularly Ronnie Liu, the Exco of Selangor, who announced in one of his press conference that if Grand Sagas block the access, he would tear it down.

Now, we see Grand Sagas blocked the road, where is Ronnie?

To me, the best option for the State Government and the resident of Bandar Mahkota Cheras is to sue Grand Sagas for denying the rights of residents on alternative access, which is believed to be worded in the contract between Grand Sagas and the Federal Government.

With this, both State Government and the residents can demand to view the contact signed between the Federal Government and Conssessioniare, and we would probably see how the contract is worded and signed, on what ground.

Even to the extreme, the resident can denounce that the Federal Government cannot represent them signing such contract which denies their rights to the acess. It is the Government's responsibility to ensure its citizen is taken care of, contracts and agreement with business entities by the Federal Government is suppose to work for the people, not against the people.

Let the can of worm be opened in the Open Court, and let the world to see how this is done.
